It was launched to the market only in 2013 and has been the main option in Latin America and Europe due to its high capacity to receive files. The only requirement to be able to opt for it, is to have access to the internet. It is a storage service, positioned by the users as one of the best over the different competences, and also one of the most known and used. Technology sometimes advances much faster than we can understand, the cloud is not a hard drive, nor is it something that has consistency, ie, is intangible, unlike memories, pendrive or hard drive, which are devices that we can have at hand physically.

When we talk about the cloud, we are talking about “cloud computing”, a system in which we can synchronize information over the Internet, upload it or extract it. Now, we need a mechanism to store all the information and content that is relevant to us.įor that reason, the cloud is a suitable place to store that content, instead of a hard disk that can get damaged and lose everything it had, with no way to recover it, which can be summarized – sadly – in lost jobs and memories.

We want to treasure the unique moment, not just of a big event, simply to capture for eternity things that are important to us.īut the big question is: Where do we keep that memory? How do we treasure it without it getting lost in so many files or damaged? Before, we could not fit our books in the library, there are still people who keep their books in big boxes occupying spaces that we can see. We can all take pictures, in fact, if we do not share or portray that moment, we feel it did not exist.

As we develop within the digital life, and we make it part of our day to day, needs arise to better enjoy all the tools that technology offers.
